Haven't done this in a while because there's not as much minor league ball being played, but there is still some and we have had some ranking changes
in the past month.
Moving up:
Moving up:
- Mark Wagner (c) - He ended the season ranked at 26 but has now moved up to 22. Mark's highest mark was in June 2008 at # 11.
- Richie Lentz (rhp) - In September of '08 Richie was ranked at 22, but this past August he fell out of the top 60 ... only to reappear this week at # 47.
- Chris Province (rhp) - In June of '08 Chris was up as high as #16 on the list, only to fall off the list entirely by the end of August of the same year. He showed up again in March at # 53 but was gone again by May. He was back yet again in July getting as high as 52 ... but off the list by late August. Well, he's baaaaack! At the end of September he returned at #47, his best rank since July '08. He's at 48 now, but that's because Lentz moved up, not so much that Province dropped a notch.
- Jason Rice (rhp) - Jason also made his return to the top 60 at # 50. He'd dropped off in mid-August. His best ranking was 41 back in June.
- Seth Schwindenhammer (of) - Seth is the third guy to make a return to the top 60 this week at 58. He was at 47 back in June.
- Randy Consuegra (ss) - Randy fell off the list from 56 last week. That was also his best ranking.
- Leandro Marin (rhp) - Leandro dropped off from 59th. In June he'd been as high as 48.
- Francisco Taveras (lhp) - He dropped off from the 60th spot. He'd been at 60 since late September and he's never been higher.
- Seth Garrison (rhp) - Seth didn't fall out this
past week but I'm not sure I mentioned his plummet before. In mid-September he was at his all time high at #45. By the end of the month though he was
gone ... and remains unranked.
