Yea I think anything less than a 5 game suspension for a starter would be quite irrelevant

Be interesting to see if the Sox can score any runs without Magadan calling plays in the dugout.

I still don't understand why Magadan's punishment was any more than a routine take-a-shower deal. Magadan never left the dugout. Equipment never left
the dugout. I'm sure a 4-letter word or two left the dugout. But what in all of this warrants a suspension?? As far as I know Magadan never appeared on
camera during the incident, so he couldn't have finger-saluted a TV audience or anything. I'd love to hear what made this so out of the ordinary. Maybe
Magadan is being made to take sensitivity training on his day off, so he doesn't hurt the umpire's feelings or anything.

OK, that explains it. I was watching the MASN and they had the camera focused on the ump the whole time, who was looking toward the dugout. And Dibble
commented about the ump getting into it with the dugout.
