And I would advise Duffman: Don't have a cow, man! But seriously, this series is one of those that makes me a little nervous. It's just too easy to overlook a team like this.

Not sure what to expect from Smoltz. 2/3 very probable.

Seriously though, Penny is rolling, no reason to expect that won't continue. Lester is coming off an outing where he battled his command, would expect him to want to try to right the ship. And Smoltz is pitching in his first game in over a year; he's a gamer and those natty bats are just what he needs in his first start back. The Nats taking 2-of-3 from the Yanks may be just the thing to keep the rest of the team focused. I expect good pitching and at least 2 wins.....

In the old days, when travel was a bit more dicey, if a trade were going to occur between two clubs, it would often happen around the time they played each other, so that the players could easily join their new team. But now that the concern over Papi has subsided I guess there's no reason to speculate about a trade with the Nats.
