Some of the Ground Rules are applied loosely in here, as we understand that there is a tendency to want to react (or overreact) to every play of a Sox game with one line reactionary posts. Not exactly going against superstar pitchers for the Marlins.

By my figuring Wake has 4 more starts before the AS break. If he could get to 12 wins by the break, might the AL give him a ceremonial spot on the team?? It would be nice to see him get a reward like that, but he hasn't pitched THAT well, so he would have to be up there in the glamour wins stat to get a spot, I think. That D's gotta get better for 100 though. Would Lowrie be enough? Lowrie and an improving Lowell. The rest of the D is good, with the exception of Bay, and he's not that bad. The D on the bench will be OK, although I wonder what happens with the IF backups when Lowrie comes back. Does Lugo get jettisoned?
