One scout said that Strasburg is better than A.J. Burnett right now and has a fastball that cuts. According to the scout Olney interiviews in this article he
has a plus changeup and slider in addition to his fastball. I wonder how he compares to David Price a couple of years ago. I would have to think that if their
number one current prospect, jordan zimmerman, pans out that the front three for the nationals should be pretty solid; Strasburg, Olsen, Zimmerman. Does
anybody care to speculate what type of bonus he will get, and how long it will take for the Nat's to sign him.

Olsen stinks, but yeah, Strasburg will be one of the 5 best pitchers in the majors next season.

I think the biggest concern with Strasburg has to be his work ethic. He was lazy in HS and it could be problematic if he doesn't stay on track once in the
pros.
I'm not saying it will be a problem, just that it is a potential problem. |

It's Friday, which is now known as Stephen Strasburg is pitching day:
7.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, only 15 K, ND (bullpen blew it). He faced 25 batters and struck 15 of them out. In 34.1 IP, this year: 21 H, 6 ER, 74/7 K/BB ratio. NBD.

Well if its an unknown injury, how do you know that its eminent to note it? He left the game after 7 full innings. Just saying. Details?

Stephen Strasburg had something serious happen to him last night we would have heard about it by now. Does anyone have any details about what kind of injury,
if any, he suffered?

After reading some of this thread, I looked at some of the videos on youtube about Stephen Strasburg and obviously he throws extremely hard, but he also has a
great curve/slider..I don't know what to call it. He can be great, I can't wait to see him in the majors, granted he gets there. Does anyone know if
one of his games are going to be televised anytime soon?
