1.) Is 19 in Lowell, his first professional season.
2.) Is having success and showing some flashes of potential. And..
3.) Received a 6-figure bonus.
....and he isn't getting very much attention at all. It will be interesting to see what the Red Sox do with all of these arms next year. I'm not sure of the precedent, but as of now there will likely be 15 pitchers in A+ ball and below that are known to have received 6-figure bonuses. That doesn't count guys like Stolmy Pimentel, Yeiper Castillo, and Jose Alvarez. The competition for full season roster spots should be very good.
