On that same note, every single projected starting position player in Greenville and Salem except Ty Weeden is in the top 60 on this site. Hopefully this is the end of filler getting significant PT in the low minors.

The depth on the younger lower levels is absolutely amazing, I'm not convinced that outside a few of the top tier prospects tehre is an awful lot above High A that's going to much of anything but the farm graduated Ellsbury, Lowrie, Masterson and Buchholz (ish) thisyear and has Bowden, Lars, Reddick and Buchholz again (ish) all potentially serious impact players. There's likely a gap to the Kalish/Lin/ Low A/GCL players, but if they keep signing this much talent it must be a frightening farm system. Imagine in a year or two if they keep drafting like this and AA is stacked like Lowell and GCL are now, while still keeping those level stacked with new inflows.

I'm still massively interested to see how these high school kids do, because the guys the Sox have loved in recent years have been impressive as hell, if they keep even half the hit rate given the ceiling of some of these young guys well I'm excited. I mean look at Reddick, he came out of more of less nowhere to rocket up to AA, there are a dozen guys who can do that next year. Lin, Kalish, WMB, WML, Tiger Death House, Hissey, Gibson, Tejeda, Denning, Sumoza, Kelly .... long list without going into pitchers. Although they're a lto further away so you'd expect a lot more Places than Larss.
