Not too much to report from Hadlock today. The Sea Dogs couldn't solve the mystery of Brad Bergesen. This is the second time in a week he's baffled them, but nothing in his repertoire really stood out to me.

Mickey Hall continued to show his power. He sent a ball to the warning track in right that Reimold made a nice running catch on, then sent one to the track in left that Montanez made a leaping grab of.

I'll admit I'm a bit mystified as to why Beyeler likes Otness (1 HR in 336 AA ABs) in the cleanup spot and why he has to get him in the lineup every day, even playing him at 1B a couple times. Predictably, Otness popped out with the bases loaded and nobody out in the 8th against Bowie closer Julio Manon. To be fair, Bates and Pinckney followed him with Ks. I think the Dogs are 0 for 14 or 15 against Manon on the year.

Goodson looked decent. I had trouble telling his off-speed pitches apart. Everything that wasn't a fastball was between 78-81. The HR was a shot, but none of the other hits he allowed were struck particularly well. Daeges allowed another line drive that should have been caught to fall in front of him. I sense a pattern developing here.
