Sloppy game on both sides in Portland today.

Masterson was not particularly sharp, but was still getting the ground balls. 91 pitches/50 strikes, 0/4 K/BB, 13/3/5 G/L/F. His defense obviously didn't help him out, either. Daeges came up short on bloop single in the first and misplayed a liner for an error in third (originally scored as a single, but changed mid-game).

The Dogs took advantage of 10 walks by the Bay Sox, who threw 183 pitches with only 93 strikes. Daeges crushed the ball today, but only came away with a LD-DP and a SF to show for it. There was strong wind blowing in from right field across left, which made anything hit too high an adventure and also kept flies by Daeges and Pinckney in the park..

Mike Jones leaves the Greenville game with an apparent injury, according to the game recap. Looks like a collision between Jones and the runner (who was out on the play and left the game). Drive trail 5-1.

Kalish is really struggling getting the ball in the air. Coming into tonight he has a 75% GB rate and a 2.5% LD rate. So far tonight he has a K and a ground out.
