After experimenting with moving the Red Sox GameDay threads to their own sub-forum in April, we've
decided to bring them back to the main board as Red Sox Series threads, similar to las year. The reason we previously
moved these threads off the main board was because a lot of inane discussion (read: nonsensical BS) went down in those threads last year - which is
partially okay - but it was spilling over to the main board and causing a lot of the same BS to be posted in the regular threads.
We're bringing back the Sox Series threads to the main board with a few caveats:
--The moderators and I will be a little more lenient on the ground rules in the MLB GameDay threads. Just please try not to take advantage of that by making those threads into a romper room. And please try not to let that spread on to the rest of the main board.
--For example, try to avoid two or three word reactionary posts such as "That sucked" or "Inexcusable loss!" Those posts really don't add anything to the forum discussion, and probaly should go in the chat room if all you want to do is vent.
--Try to avoid poor taste comments about the players such as "Lugo is a piece of sh-t" or "I wish JD Drew would die." We understand the frustration to a point, but all we ask is for the slightest bit of class and civility
--Please try not to pour any and all Red Sox related news into the GameDay threads. If some interesting news pops up that's worthy of its own discussion (particularly about the younger players or anything ML-related), we encourage you to start a new thread.

GameDay discussion, which has been lacking so far this year. And like I said, we're not going to be Nazis about
this kind of stuff, I just want to keep the discussion in those threads from turning into a chat-room style dialogue and I want to avoid that stuff from
