Much better arm action on the change-up there. Both that I've seen have been swing and misses.

What's Hagadone throwing today? Besides strikes I mean.

Greenville
5-2, mid 7th Craft comes out of the pen and walks two, gives up two hits and leaves the bases loaded before being replaced by Ryan Colvin, who gets out of the inning with minor damage. |

CWAA I didn't see a fair amount of the game, but from what I could tell from the announcer the FB topped out at 92, sat in the upper-80s-90, change was at
79 (as someone said, two swings & misses on this) breaking ball I can't say but would love to know. It looked like it had maybe 11-5 drop (camera angle
is terrible so its hard to tell) & actually bumps my estimation of Hagadone a little bit, assuming his velocity will increase a little as the season goes
on.

edit: it's a slider, duveen. "Anything less than 100 percent is a repudiation of God's gifts. And I can promise you one thing- I give 100 percent." - JD 'The Natural' Drew

TGG gets it right, he could've just thrown fastballs all day & put up a good line. I didn't however notice any kind of special movement on this
pitch -- looked quality, & threw strikes, but stuffwise nothing special. If he's capable of hitting mid-upper 90s, though, I'm thinking this is
stretch-the-muscles-out kinda stuff. The change looked quality & the slider, devastating - looking again now at the soxprospects scouting report (doh) I
think they got it exactly right (82-83 mph biting slider). The announcer had it confused with a curveball, & it looked like it could've been a power
curve to me, which is nothing if not a good thing. Hard to say from where I'm sitting but IMO he's got more than enough to be a starter, esp if his
velocity picks up.

Also, it looked like Craft hurt himself. So they might be in a situation where they have little choice.
