Charlie Zink with a 3/1 K/BB through 3 innings. Haigwood with 2 K in the first inning.

This Adam Cowart guy for Connecticut looks pretty good based on his numbers. Excellent control, gets groundballs. Just 28 walks and 4 HR in 170 IP last year. Nuts. He's better than Barry Zito. I guess he's a smidge old though. Zito, too.

Professional hitter Chris Carter singles to lead off the 8th. Moss doubles him to third. No outs. Bailey grounds out. One out. Ginter knocks in both runs. 2-0, bottom 8th (time to warm up Gronk). Gronk is in and saves it. 2-0 final.

Sea Dogs score an unearned run in the 7th. 1-0, mid 7th. KJax comes in with one on and two outs in the 7th and loads the bases but gets out of it unscathed (1-3). KJax with a 1-2-3 8th inning. 1-0, mid 9th. Vaughan is in to pitch the 9th. K. One out. K. Two outs. BB. Winning run comes to the plate. Flyout to Bell. Game over - drive home safely. 1-0 final.
