I didn't mean to sound so negative in my post. There's no doubt that they have a strong schedule but it is bottom heavy. Right now their schedule is decent, but not great. To be honest, I'm just a little freaked out that we are a potential top 5 team right now. Being ranked 10-12 was my comfort zone, now we are pushing greatness and I'm not sure what to think. We haven't had that defining game where we've announced to the country that we are for real, it seems like we are falling into the top 5 by default. GTech was close, that got us a jump to 14, but I'm waiting for that game in Blacksburg. VTech aren't what they used to be, but two road victories in conference will be the point where I begin to think we are legitimately in the hunt for the National Championship game. Beating FSU will help too.

Right now I still believe we are a 10-2 team who have the best shot in the conference to make the title game. Somewhere 10-12 range for ranking. Our schedule is brutal at the end. Thankfully ND shouldn't be as hard as what was expected at the beginning of the year. I'm still hoping for the magical season and feel like it could happen, but I'm sticking with 10-2 for now.

Then again, I could just be trained for the TOB WTF game and thus I refuse to believe anything with BC until I see it.

I'm so glad WVU lost. I think you've got to seriously consider Hawaii before throwing a 2-loss team into the game. You have to give them a chance to prove themselves. Or at least if they win their BCS game, the AP should give them some votes for #1.

So when does the playoff discussion heat up again?
