Or BC is vastly underrated. The only thing holding them back this year is their schedule. They are bound to lose a couple tough games this year.
With that being said, Wake Forest just pulled a NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND with a scoring drive and a 3-and-out. |

Yes, I was joking in posting contradictory opinions in consecutive posts.
I think BC is underrated (as you can see from one of my earlier posts on this thread) but I wouldn't call them *vastly* underrated. I think they're a Top 25 but not Top 10 caliber team. I believe that they are mainly held back by a talent level that is solid but not spectacular. |

Drew Weatherford back to being an awful QB last night...FSU looses again to Clemson. Heard on SC that this was a matchup of the top two team in the Atlantic Conference and again had to chuckle...

Why must BC get the Rodney Dangerfield treatment? I'm sure SC must have meant the Atlantic division since VT is the class of the conference this year, but BC is getting no respect for returning nearly all of their starters including the top QB in the ACC last year. I mean, NC State even got respect when Philip Rivers was in his senior season.

ND is still 3 weeks from the tough part of the schedule. They play UCLA-BC-USC consecutively.

Don't forget Purdue, who is very good and might even win teh Big 10, and Air Force, who just beat TCU. ND's only wins could come againt Stanford, Navy, and Duke.

6 of the 11 teams ranked in front of BC lost this weekend, so we should see BC moving into the top 10. I think we can say that they are underrated no longer.

No. Top 10 makes them overrated right now because they haven't beaten a legit program yet this year. But I do want to let out an "I told you so" to all those voters who left BC unranked at the beginning of this year. Did they not think Matt Ryan would play this year?

I'd like to point out the even though the UConn Huskies are going to lose 5 out of the next 6 games, they are currently 5-0. Thought you all should know.

they beat a Wake Forest team, who beat Maryland, who just beat a 10th ranked Rutgers team. Wake Forest also took Nebraska to the wire. they beat a Georgia Tech team that everyone was heralding as the class of the ACC AT GEORGIA TECH. GT just beat Clemson, the other ACC Darling. None of these top 10 teams have beaten anyone worthwhile yet except for LSU and CAL. BC opened up with 3 conference games. Don't say they've beaten anyone. In fact, if NCAA did a SOS, It'd be safe to say that BC's schedule through the first three games was one of the tops in the nation and still might be. |
