When I posted that today's edition wasn't up yet. Look at yesterday's. Unless Jacoby, Clay, Edgar, Lincoln, and Abe played for Portland ... :-)

Just a few minor things:
-On Lonergan's page, "age" isn't bold like the rest -On Buchholz's page, the 'C' in 'Cole Hamels' is in some other/larger font. ----------

The 9/1 transaction for Farnsworth also has it mispelled "Jeff Fanrsworth."

Re: Corrections | #48 | ||

Not sure if it's intentional or not, but all the newer players (Lonergan (not exactly new though), Farnsworth, Carter, Spivey, etc.) all have "Age" in regular type, not bold as all the other pages do.

Not a huge deal but on Mastersons link his stats for Lancaster 2007 are a little off. It has him listed at 160 hits allowed (103 on MiLB), 113 Runs (56 on MiLB) 92 ER (46 on MiLB) 20 HR's allowed (4 on MiLB)

Nick Hagadone's stats are wrong for Washington. He only gave up 2 HR, while the page here says 17.

The 31-40 group isn't properly sorted by rank.

Re: Corrections | #56 | ||

The sortable stats don't sort correctly. It really screws up the counting stats where you have many fields with single digits and double digits (and triple digits as is the case with RBI and R).
I support and respect all Red Sox prospects.

Re: Corrections | #57 | ||

Klos, the sortable stats work in IE, but not in Firefox. The sortable tables with the "zebra stripes" (alternating grey/white background per row) is programmed by a code calld sorttable_colored.js. IE can read this code fine, but Firefox cannot at this point, despite the fact that sortable was programmed by a professional javascript engineer (not by me).
Let me just go on record that while some users find Firefox more user-friendly, I really dislike it. It does not know how to read professianlly programmed code, so often site features have to be "dumbed-down" to meet Firefox's standards. In this case, I could remove the striping and just go with a plain white background and it would work for both. However, I have opted not to dumb down the sortable stats page for Firefox. Sorry to you Firefox users out there. In the meantime, over the next few wweks I will try to get in touch with the programmer and see if he has written a patch for Firefox. |
