Rookie Posts: 24 03/26/07 9:00 PM	Hi all. New member...long time lurker. Live here in Portland and get to see most of the Seadogs games. Right now the Seadogs look OK to start. Reportedly Ellsbury will be back as well as some others. Rumor is the Lowrie and Bladergroen will be here (although your roster lists indicate that they will be in Lancaster). OK pitching to start...hopefully the crew from Lancaster and maybe Kris Johnson from Lowell will be up before long. Maybe this season will be like 2005 when we had Papelbon, Lester, Hansen, Anabel Sanchez, Cla Meridith, etc. etc. Wow, were we loaded with Pitching talent that year!?! Anyway, I hope I can add something in the future.

Anyways i realize i haven't posted here so i thought id let people get to get an idea about who i am. Right now im a sophmore at Boston College currently working on a Mathematics degree with a computer science minor. I grew up in Wrentham Ma and attended King Philip High School. I only got into the minor leaguers recently but have been a pretty avid red sox fan my whole life. Ive really been trying to get a handle on how a person should look at a prospect in order to gauge where that prospect could end up. I consider myself a StatHead and I think it would be great if i could get to know enough about prospects and player progression that i could use my math skills to create a regression like the PETCO to help predict players stats. I guess i just see the minors as the intersection of the two things i love: Baseball and Math. anyways you guys have prolly seen me post before, but i thought id let you know who i am.

Rookie Posts: 72 03/29/07 4:37 PM	19 year old sophomore, Sports Management Major at UMASS-Amherst. Member of the UMASS Men's Track and Field Team. Long time reader, and first time poster. My hometown is in Metrowest and I am a Red Sox prospector when it comes to card collecting. I have a side job on ebay buying and selling sports cards. I focus on prospects in lower levels. Everyone likes to buy cheap, and sell high, as do I. I focus most of my selling on prospects outside of the Red Sox system. I have an extensive personal collection of Red Sox players and prospects that will never find their way onto the secondary market. Hope I can make some positive contributions in the future. Thanks!

Just figured they would be easy numbers to remember. Secondly, I am a 16 year old from New Hampshire, who is actually working at the Fisher Cats so I could "see" the PSD games here for free. And lastly, this site is pretty nasty.

So, umm... hi, everyone! I moved to Boston for grad school and have been here quite a while, but I grew up in Oregon, so I'm pulling for the Oregon kids in the Sox system (particularly Jed Lowrie). Guess I'll be listening to a few Portland games this year.

Recently I was suspended (for what I don't know) but I have no intention of carrying any animosity onto here. I respect the decision to have me suspended because they have a certain quality level to uphold and I didn't uphold meet that standard. Hopefully, I will be able to here and back at RSN.net when my suspension is up. Anyways, I want to make it clear that I'm not coming on here because of the suspension and that I'm going to a pro-active member that adds quality posts.
