Veteran Member Posts: 168 08/07/08 8:56 AM	Tags : None Hi Everyone, My name Isao. You may have noticed me serving up box and log links for all your favorite games on a daily basis. Maybe you haven't. In any case, my free time is spent working for a company called Challenge Games in Austin, TX. A couple weeks ago we launched a web based baseball card game called Baseball Boss, in addition to announcing an MLB license and a round of financing from Sequoia Capital. With Mike's permission, I'd like to invite you guys to check it out. The game is still in its the beginning stages and the early adopters will have a very important say in the shape of development. We could use some more baseball ~~know it alls~~ experts to poke around and give us some feedback. I'd recommend a "how to" video, or a prominent FAQ at the very least. Also, I honestly thought you were a bot. Rookie Posts: 97 08/07/08 11:07 AM	Jonasi, your compnay has a good idea, card collectors (unlike me) and other people who enjoy stuff like this will eventually flock to your website. There is one main issue I don't like and it's the cards themselves. There isuue '07. I understand if you couldn't get the '08 license or something but with what you have you need to take some out. Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens don't deserve to be in there because of all the allegations they've had against them. But the one card that I really couldn't stand was Joe Kennedy. The poor man died last November but you use his card anyway. I think it would be better if you could just have the cards designed by the company so they could be updated by you when a player changes teams. I would understand if you don't have the budget or time even to do that yet, I'm just throwing it out there. Keep working at it, for one thing the site does look good!

That's not the first time we've heard that either. rsfs04 - Each player who stepped on the field during a particular season has a card in that season's set. This is why there was a Joe Kennedy card in our 2007 set. His unfortunate death didn't occur until after the 2007 season. We're certainly not looking to exploit his death or offend anyone with his inclusion. Our only aim with his inclusion was for historical accuracy. Thanks for the suggestions.

All online products are essentially broken up into a) Marketing Site, where you learn more and sign up and b) Product Site, where you actually use the product. This site has forgotten about the sales process. Which is much better than the other way around. You need a product before you can start marketing it. Obviously something that's really missing right now, though. Even a simple blurb with a link to a simple static page that explains things in more detail would be helpful.
