You're right, Dude -- Bowden is the 5th starter right now. I'm expecting Bowden to have a little bit of a shaky break-in period in AAA. Let's see what happens.

I don't think it'll be a shaky break-in period. I expect he'll do relatively well, with his ERA around 3.50 or a little bit more. He won't dominate as he did in AA, but he'll still do pretty well I'm guessing.

Very excited about Bowden's first AAA start tonight. Good stuff. Hopefully there's no break-in period and he continues his domination.

Why is Darren Oliver, oops, sorry, Dave Gassner still starting in Portland? Why isn't Haigwood starting? Are we that thin that we have to continue sending him out there? Are we testing the Portland kids to see if they have the spirit to come from behind every 5th game? Does the Gassman have incriminating photos of someone?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone of you guys have ever been to a GCL Redsox game. Can you go to a game and watch them i didn't know because i have never beeen to a game and there aren't much seats a the stadium they play at? Thanks

Welcome to the site Ellsbury46. I have not been to the GCL games but I have heard they are free to get into. They are at the minorleague complex but there is limited bleacher seating so you may need to bring your own chair.

Ellsbury46, there is no entrance fee and in fact you can go as early as 9:00 am to watch the team and the rehab players workout. Typically the team goes in for a quick lunch at 10:45 and is back on the field by 11:30 for pre-game warmup. Home games generally start at 12:00 but sometimes due to weather they may change them up a bit. As far as seating is concerned, since there are few fans you should have no problem finding a covered seat although you might find more comfort if you have your own chair. Good luck and have fun! We all will expect to get your impressions on the players.

Edit: On a sac bunt attempt Price throws one in the dirt at Dent covering 2B, and Dent makes a great little scoop with the runner bearing down on him.

The angle on the broadcast makes it hard to see. But it looked high and toward the outer edge of the plate.

Edit: Bermudez takes an inside fastball and drives it off the wall in left-center. Very well hit.
