Alex Cora makes me miss Julio Lugo in a big way.

Is there a curse on our shortstops or something? Cora is going to cost us this game.

Only Alex Cora and Francona's love for him could make me regret an injury to Julio Lugo

Wow. Just wow. Buchholz brought nothing to the table tonight.

And there really is no reason Alex Cora should be on this team. He has to be the slowest middle infielder of all time.

Worst stuff he has had in any of his outings in the Majors.

Someone needs to take a huge hit for changing his arm angle. This is the kind of decision people get fired over.

Francona is too loyal to "his guys"!!! I think the Sox should have traded for Sabathia and had him DH in between starts. He is a better hitter than
most of the guys we're throwing out there lately, I'd like to see Casey replaced at DH by our actual DH, I don't care how many Portland Sea Dogs
fans get disappointed, he told Francona he felt good, get him on a plane to Seattle after the game tomorrow.

To steal the theme of last night, Buch was not throwing downhill at all tonight.

What a gutless fucking performance by this team.
Lugo is a walking poster child for late term abortions. I know he's in the 95th trimester or whatever but he should be the loophole to the law. mahalo

Also, any reason Chris Carter couldn't have played the DH role. Who knows, if he showed something for a few games, maybe he + something could bring back a
middle reliever (wishful thinking I know).

I am pretty sure if Julio Lugo was at SS the first inning was over on the Vlad liner. Damn it where is Lugo?
I'd love to lick the tears off of Joba's face... I'm sure they taste like sweet golden

Oh and DH'ing Casey and letting manny play LF as opposed to Manny DH and a Coco/Jacoby/Drew outfield better be because Coco has some fluke injury and not
by choice.

templeUsox wrote: For me my concerns go back to the off season. I never liked the idea of sending him to Arizona to muscle up. I was worried that the added muscle would mess
with his mechanics some. Add that to arm slot changes this kid is not the same pitcher we saw before the Sox shut him down last year. Everything seems
different, velocity, break, the change-up, everything has a different look to it.

The only reason I'm watching still is to see if Theo is still sitting in the front row.
What a disaster. |
