Something else to add to the mix:
According to one of the Sea Dogs (via his host), Bowden, Corsaletti, and Madera are going to AAA, Reddick to AA.

I don't want to say a flat out no... but the source I have is a very good one and did not mention Reddick at all. So, I don't think so... at this
point.
It also wouldn't make sense to demote Pritz if Reddick was coming up now.

It's possible that Reddick was not going to be promoted up until last night, but his walk in yesterday's game proved to the organization that he has
earned a promotion. Just throwing stuff out there.

You are throwing that stuff... There doesn't seem to be much of a challenge at A+ for him. His average is still floating around .350 and he generates
extra-base hits like he's flipping pancakes off the griddle. If he does need to build up his OBP, how easy is it going to be in a place where he hits so
much of what he sees? And he does seem to be drawing a few walks lately. The team has got to be eager to see what he'll do at the next level.
His away stats this year (OPS of .864) are, I think, a good placeholder for what he might do in the Eastern League when he gets there. There are a lot of venues in the Cal that are not pure hitters parks and he works pitchers over in those locations as well. |

Seems to me that Reddick should be in Portland, but the Sox have a real OF jam-up between Portland and Pawtucket. I think they have to sort that out before he
moves.
I took a look at the CAL league batting stats yesterday. I thought this was a hitter's league. There really aren't a whole lot of impressive hitting performances in the league. Reddick certainly stands out. But if one just looked at the batting stats, without any knowledge of the reputation of the league, one would not conclude that it is a hitter's paradise. |

I sure hope this is true. Otherwise Reddick my suffer unbearable torture being asked to improve his game, which will ultimately backfire and damage his chances
at becoming a major league ballplayer.
