As long as Reddick's presumably somewhat forced patience development doesn't coincide with a hitting dropoff. It IS possible that not all hitters do
best on the Bill Mueller diet.

I think that Reddick should be promoted to Portland soon, maybe after the Eastern League All-Star break. I would like to see what Reddick can do in a less
hitter friendly environment. IMO, he has nothing left to prove in the Cal League. He's hitting .350 right now with 14 HR and he isn't striking out at
an alarming rate. Granted, he doesn't have the plate discipline that most people would like him to have, but as many people have said before, some hitters
just do better by not taking walks.
