Certainly a valid point, Q. I wasn't trying to advocate he's a diamond in the rough, rather point out that he's been successful everywhere he's
been and that it's simply unfair to label him as someone with no ceiling. As with all low-level prospects that have success, you're stuck in the
'wait and see' mode until they're called up. I'm not going to discredit him because of who he's playing but I'm not going to get too
excited because as you said, there's tons of guys like him.
We'll see.

Why is Feliz in the GCL? That league is no match for him.
Boston doesn't deserve me.

Clay: 2 IP, 1 H, 3 K
Stolmy: 2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 K
So on Sundays most people prefer to get hammered and watch the favorite NFL team. I am in that boat myself.

Clay walked a guy, maybe he needs to go back down to AA.... screw it, send him to the GCL...
"And, you know, has it ever occurred to you, that, instead of, uh... this could be a lot more, uh, complex, I mean, it's not just, it might not be
just such a simple... uh, you know?"

I don't get why Cabreja is in the GCL. I thought the guy handled himself just fine last year in Lowell. So much for him becoming an infielder.

2 IP 1 H 2K/0BB 3GO/1FO for Mike Lee tonight. Definetly a guy on my radar as I have mentioned before. 2nd time he has followed Pimental up in the early
going this season so maybe they're going with him on the 5th day and he'll pitch with Stolmy. Probably 2 inning stints as he is now close to 100 IP
for the season and who knows the pitch counts he logged. Looking forward to checking him out and seeing just how his change looks, if he is throwing them at
all.
Lowell takes it 7-1. CFO with the 3/4 and 2 RBI looking advanced past the NYPL at the plate. Middlebrooks with a 2/4, RBI, and a K. He's been making more contact as of late. Stolmy with 5IP, 1ER, 3 K's, and 0 BB's. It's early, bu at lot to like out of the young Lowell starters in the early going. |

Did anyone get a rough read on Buch's fastball % in person, on the radio, or on GameCast. Last start he was at 66%. He only threw 51 pitches and went 5
IP. There was a RD, but it was pretty short so maybe a chance to curtail his innings. He came back out after the delay and breezed through the 5th. He was
pretty much dominating and it was a night where he could have gone 8-9. I think he'll give up some solid contact if he is working the fastball so the
homer tonight doesn't really jump out at me. The 2BB's are a clue to his command so I'd be interested to get an idea to how it was if anyone was
tracking.
