Will goes through the list of the top 10 GM candidates out there. Jed Hoyer is at the top of the list. Peter Woodfork is at the bottom of the list. Josh Byrnes has been solid in AZ (though he's going to regret the Quentin trade/Byrnes signing). John Farrell didn't make the list but probably gets a job before Woodfork IMO.

Now, if Hoyer actually leaves this will be a story but for now I just think it's interesting to point out how one day all of Theo's minions might be running the show. I'm not sure you can give Theo credit for the development of all these guys, but certainly there's a story here somewhere.

Edit: Also, the absence of Antonetti is more striking than the absence of Farrell. He includes the #3 man behind Antonetti...did I miss something? I bet Antonetti, LaCava, and Rizzo get jobs before Hoyer.
Double edit: had I read the boring parts of the article I would have seen that Antonetti was excluded because he seems "locked in" with the Indians...I remember hearing similar things about Dayton Moore.

No, you're right Chach. He'll probably get a managerial job before he gets a GM job. I was distracted by Gammo's quote about how Farrell could be one of the few who does both, but his passion/near future is definitely closer on the coaching side.
