How am I supposed to take these mock drafts seriously when they change every week? Mayo has, over the course of 7 days, changed his mind on the first pick of
the draft? Based on what? How could there possibly be something a 17/18 year old player does in one week that could change your outlook on him?

Well, because mock drafts are often based on what will happen and not what the mock drafter wants to happen, it is very possible that Mayo stumbled upon new
information or received a scoop that team A was interested in player X. That would be an easy way a draft could completely shift around.

Maybe the changes have to do with uncertainty in team management rather than anything the players are doing?

That'd be nice, but there's no way Seaton falls that low.

They are both predicted to possibly plummet due to demands.

I like Putnam too, but what makes you think Meyer will be there at 198?
And I hate Cole Figueroa And can someone explain to me what is so great about Casey Kelly? He is neither a great hitting or pitching prospect, he probably won't even sign and yet everyone I see ranks him in the top 20? BA said that both his bat needs work AND he likely won't be able to stay at short.

138. Isaac GallowayHas Galloway really fallen this much? I never liked him too much since his bat seemed like average at best speed, but I'm surprised by the ranking here, strong college commit?

Drafting Federowicz would be a nice bow to end this whole Pedro Alvarez scenario.

The summer before he attended Vanderbilt they played on the same summer league team together and I made an off-the-cuff comment about how Federowicz sucked and
could only wish to be as good as his teammate, Alvarez. Then, a poster who is a UNC fan who will go unnamed went apeshit and tried to read me the riot act. And
here we are three years later and Federowicz still sucks and still can't hold Alvarez's jock.

I know you are in love with Cooper but no way he drops and even if he does I wouldn't draft him. I don't like to waste a pick on a 1st baseman.
Edit: this was my 1000 post and I didn't even notice.
Boston doesn't deserve me.

Perhaps. I could see either the Jays or the Padres taking him. I do believe, however, that he has as much of a chance falling to us as Havens does. It's
entirely possible that the Twins could be looking to fill their void on the left side of the infield.
Is there any reason other than we're already pretty deep at 1B that you wouldn't draft Cooper? edit: Hypothetical question here. Let's say the Twins do take Havens. Who do you take then? I guess you could take a gamble with Lawrie. He could go either way as a third baseman or a catcher, both organizational needs. JOSH PHEGLEY IN 09
