The ads will continue to be up over the weekend. By Monday I should get a better estimate of what the costs will be to upgrade back to an Ads-Free Gold Community for the year. Based on the input and comments here (and the estimated costs), we may upgrade next week. Depending on the costs, we may or may not ask for small contributions to help defray the costs. If it is the case that we ask for contributions, those contributions will NOT be a requirement of membership. It would only be a voluntary donation to help keep the site running. Contributions to that community chest link go directly to the gold community costs and can't be used for anything else.

Until then, we can bear with the ads for a few more days, and I'll appreciate your opinions here. And like I said, don't go paying the $12 for the YukuSupporter just yet, it might not be necessary. If you are thinking of paying $12 for that, it might help out more if you contributed $10 to the chest next week. But we'll know more on Monday.
