Yikes, Mendoza could Paul Byrd us, seems like the type of pitcher (sinker baller, throws strikes) that frustrate us.

Boston:Can we just pencil in this line-up for the rest of the year? Or at least until Lowell gets back? "Being Scandinavian myself, I can tell you that Lars is the name of the mythological Norse God of Batting." Drew (Pacific Prospect Report) |

2 nights in a row Jacoby playing CF and batting first? Good decission but does this mean they don't want risking an injury to Coco because he's close
to being traded?

I hate the umps. We should use robots they can call a perfect game.

That 3-1 pitch was pretty low. Manny had a legit beef on that one. Then, the ump made it personal and rung him up Frank Drebin style in the Naked Gun pretty
much before the pitch got to the plate.

Is Mendoza a little bigger than he was two years ago?

That was a sweet sight with Ellsbury, Lowrie, and Pedroia all standing at home plate to congratulate Ortiz.

Sac fly by Lowrie. He's doing the little things necessary to win. Get rid of Lugo please.
