Im a South Carolina fan and got this nugget from one of our pay sites. They have been in touch with Wil Myers a lot over the past week and this was in an article from today. Straight from his mouth. Seems like he thinks if he gets by KC we take him. Also our mods are predicting Ethan Carter and Chistian Walker go to school. Also I said this morning I think too many people have us tied to Stassi to take him. Just doesnt seem right for everyone to know Theo loves the guy.

their 5th pick is #48 actually, and the dbacks' first 5 picks are actually better.

I agree about Scheppers, Gibson, or Crow. While I think most of the names associated with the Sox so far have been very interesting, passing on one of those three would be a major letdown IMO.

Matzek is asking for "precedent setting" money (ie, north of $7mm), according to Callis. Hobgood in the top 5 is surprising, although I like him a lot. I had heard last night that the Rox were going to take him at 11.

The bad thing about Sanchez at 4 is that it makes it more likely that Seattle pops Myers or Stassi at 27, although there are rumors of a Steve Baron deal at 33. Seattle is rumored to be taking a catcher at one of those spots.

If the Tigers go cheap...

I really want Ackley just to drop 1 spot, just because with his patience and advanced approach, it would be a shame for him to go to the organization known for encouraging players to swing at every first pitch, ... and every pitch thereafter.

I agree, Sanchez at 4 is a 10 - 15 pick overdraft, but I also agree he wouldn't have lasted till the end of the round.
