What do we have here?

Dude has a 924 OPS with what looks like legit power production to go along with his command of the strikezone. 50/53 BB/K going right now. .292/.411/.513, 10
HR, 19 2B, 4 3B, 7 steals.

The power surge looks really encouraging. Is he capable of playing CF fulltime? Can he pass there as a 4th outfielder?

He's clearly old for his league, but is this the worst thing that can be said of him? He could easily be in AAA right now and he'd only be a little
behind...

Greek, in the last couple of weeks, Carter has been playing about 1/2 at DH and 1/2 in LF. With Corsaletti in Pawtucket, my guess is that falls to about 2/3 at
DH and 1/3 in LF, with Corsaletti DH'ing a game or two and giving JVE a breather in CF once a week.

Also, as far as this relates to Bailey or Moss or anything like that, this isn't an impending move or anything. Also can't say I see how Brandon Moss
fits into this at all. He's in the Majors for the foreseeable...

If Kielty were to be released and Corsaletti called up, which would be the most likely scenario?

1) Carter and Corsaletti split-platoon in LF, JVE in CF, Danielson in RF.
2) Corsaletti in LF, JVE in CF, Danielson in RF with Carter getting the majority of the PT at 1B over Spann.

I would have to say the latter, at least until Bailey is sent back down Friday.

I think (personal opinion, no inside information) Kielty is a prime candidate to be released as soon as he is healthy. Danielson is a 4th OF. No need to cut
him, as whoever is brought up should be playing most of the time.

Honestly, if it means cutting Kielty and Sean Danielson to make room to see what these guys can do at AAA, I think you have to make that move. The
organization has enough OF depth at this point that we can afford to cut bait on a guy putting up a .590 OPS in AAA. Move up either Corsaletti or Bell, get
Reddick up to AA in their place. We're finally getting to the point where we're starting to have a crowded system where this is going to happen.
Obviously, there isn't going to...

Whatever the Sox had him working on in XST at the beginning of the year has paid off, as he's shown much improved power. He just missed HR #11 on Sunday,
hitting a bomb off the wall in CF about 390 feet away.

I thought he showed decent range as a CF last year, but it's telling that he's hardly gotten any playing time there this year. If the Sox thought he
had CF ability, I assume they'd want to get him more starts there. Mickey Hall has seen more time in CF than...
