Just a reminder that send mass-spam private messages to the entire membership is grounds for an immediate banning, no warnings. That is straight up listed in the ground rules. I received two PMs from two different members asking me to sign up for some other start-up message board. I'm looking into it. I apologize if everyone here got spammed.

Hey everyone,

Just a quick heads up that we're adding a Ground Rule about signatures. It's just fine for people to put whatever they want in their sigs still, as long as it's within the existing ground rules, so don't worry there. However, when people have signatures that aren't easily discernible from the rest of their post, it can be very, very annoying.

This is just a note to let everybody know that the moderators and I want to discourage the use of polls in the future unless a topic absolutely requires it. Most poll topics lately have been fine, but didn't absolutely need to be posted as polls. The reason polls are discouraged is because every time a poll is voted upon, it is pushed to the top of the discussion board, and consequently they just never seem to go away and tend to crowd the most recent discussion. Throwdown Subforum

The "Throwdown Subfourm" is a forum where users can go to duke it out and argue points that don't need to be aired out for the general pubic to see. There is minimal moderation there, so if you want to go there have a thick skin. This forum is only open to registered members, and is not veiwable to anyone else. To reach that means, a password is required.
