On the draft chart for previous years Bold/Green& Yellow Highlight are used for players in the organization and with MLB experience respectively.

Weekly podcast?

Just an idea, why not have a weekly podcast with the news and some discussions about the week in the minors. Rumors, Player/Pitcher of the Week results, news, maybe even and interview with a prospect if that works out.

Just a thought for a small easy improvement: it would be handy if the the MLB comparison names were hyperlinked to their Baseball Cube pages (or some similar site).

Also, if it's feasible, I would be interested in seeing the Pecota comps for those players for which comps are available.

IE vs. FireFox

It is highly recommended to use Internet Explorer when vieweing the site rather than FireFox. For some unknown reason, Firefox drops random text, does not pick up border colors, and adds random coloring throughout the site. I have triple checked the HTM code, and its good on my end. In fact, some of it was even written by professional programmers, and that doesn't work there either.

I apologize to you FireFox users, but that browser just does not read code...

Eammon Portice's Vital Stats

I notice Eammon Portice's page is largely blank. I found this link at High Point where Portice went to college. It has information you may be able to use to fill in the blanks on his age, height, weight and such. He was stellar last night (April 12th) and it might be good to know a little more about him. Looks like he'll be 22 in June.

Mike,

The new features on player pages are great. One thing that might make it even better are video links for players. Not everyone gets to see these players in person and it would be great to see a little something to go with all the info and discussion from the board. The Futures at Fenway is a great place to get video of some of our better prospects. I don't know if some posters who go out to see the games regularly could also get some video.

Adam Mills Scouting report

The scouting report for Adam Mills is a little screwy. Was looking over some random guys I don't know much about today, clicked his scouting report, and it's missing his vitals. It's got the scouting report, but doesn't have his age, height, weight, home town, etc.

Just giving you guys a heads up.

EDIT: I guess the trick is to keep reading. Found what I was looking for. . .

Explaining BABIP, ISoP, and IsoD

I didn't want to clutter up the main board, so I thought i'd ask here. I see the terms and equations for BABIP and ISoP and ISoD. What do they mean? How are they used for measuring? Is a high BABIP a good thing for a hitter? For pitcher?

Didn't want to clutter up the main board with this thread, but on the Top Prospects page, it lists Craig Hansen's name in italics with an "*" next it with the phrase PG. I was just wondering what does this mean.

Perhaps putting the players "previous rank" between there current rank and there picture would work. I think this will help to show how a player is trending.

Just an idea, but I think it would make it easier if there were a "More Prospects" link below the 20th prospect. It's very minor, but if it's easy to do it would make sense.

Brought up before but I can not remember seeing it so I apologize if I am off base...

Mike what ya think of a Photos sub forum. A place where people can just post pictures of games they went to. Instead of searching through old archives to dig them out if they wanna see them again.

A while back Mike (I think) posted a list of prospect names with phonetic pronunciations. I think it would be helpful to put that info on the individual player pages (as it becomes available).

Jim Callis is one of the "professionals" that people on this board often ask questions to and his responses, opinions and information are highly valued by the members of this site. Then i found out that he has an account on SoSH, a site that is not even prospect based. Has he been invited to this site? is he really on this site under another name?

I understand why he might not want to join: this site so addicting that he may start to show bias...
